Efforts for Proper Management of Public Research Funds

OptQC Corp. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”) shall strive for the proper management and operation of public research funds within the company based on the “Guidelines for Management and Audit of Public Research Funds at Research Institutions (Implementation Standards)” (Decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, February 15, 2007) (Revised February 1,2021).

1. Responsibility Structure

To execute the proper management and operation of public research funds, our responsibility structure is defined as follows:

  • Chief Responsible Officer: Representative Director
  • Oversees the entire organization and bears ultimate responsibility for the operation and management of public research funds.
  • Chief Supervisor: Director in charge of Legal Affairs and Compliance
  • Assists the Chief Officer and holds substantive responsibility and authority for overseeing the operation and management of public research funds across the entire institution.
  • Promotion Officer: Appointed by the Chief Supervisor
  • Holds substantive responsibility and authority for overseeing the operation and management of public research funds within each department across the entire institution.

2. Consultation and Reporting Channels

Our company has established a contact point to receive inquiries from within and outside the university regarding administrative procedures for public research funds, and a reporting point to receive reports (complaints) from within and outside our company regarding misconduct in research activities.
