Optical quantum hardware engineer
Job description
You will be responsible for the entire process from prototype development to the design, implementation, assembly, and evaluation of initial production models.

Eligibility
Required Skills & Conditions
- Completion of, or expected to complete, a Master’s degree or higher
- At least 3 years of practical experience in any of the following fields:
- Optics: Experience in constructing free-space optical systems, handling optical fibers, and using optical measurement equipment
- Mechanical: Experience in designing precision instruments using 3D CAD (Autodesk Fusion or equivalent), and practical experience in parts processing and assembly
- Electrical: Experience in analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, implementation, and debugging, as well as knowledge of control systems
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience leading project management in product design
- Ability to apply personal experience and techniques to the optical quantum field and engage in trial and error to solve unknown challenges
- Experience in automating measurement and evaluation using basic programming skills (e.g., Python)
- Communication skills to collaborate smoothly with engineers and researchers from different fields

Compensation
- Annual Salary: 10 million JPY or more (Determined based on experience and skills)
