OptQC and NTT Sign Collaboration Agreement to Develop Scalable and Highly Reliable Practical Optical Quantum Computers

OptQC and NTT Corporation have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at realizing scalable and highly reliable optical quantum computers.

Under this agreement, the companies will apply optical communication technologies—such as optical amplification and optical multiplexing—to the development of optical quantum computers in order to ensure the essential elements of scalability and reliability. Through this initiative, we aim to accelerate the practical implementation of optical quantum computers capable of addressing large-scale and complex societal challenges.
