On Monday, October 5, 2026, Noriaki Iwata, Director and COO of OptQC Corp., will pitch at the "Quantum Deep Tech Showcase & Business Matching" held at The University of Osaka Nakanoshima Center.

Organized as an official side event of the "Global Startup EXPO 2026 (GSE 2026)," this pitch and business matching event focuses on the "Quantum" field, which is designated as one of Japan's national strategic domains.

Speaker Profile

Noriaki Iwata

Director and COO, OptQC Corp.

He holds a Master's degree from the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Engineering, where he conducted research on optical quantum state generation and quantum operation under Professor Akira Furusawa. He began his career at Accenture in 2011 as a strategy consultant, focusing on new business development and structural reforms within the telecommunications and high-tech sectors. In 2019, he joined Rakuten Group as Head of Strategy for content business, leading the establishment of joint ventures and new business development. After driving enterprise-wide transformation and a successful IPO on the TSE Prime Market as a Head of CEO Office at NS Group in 2023, he assumed his current position in 2025. He brings extensive executive experience across both large companies and startups, with proven expertise ranging from strategy planning to execution.
