OptQC to Participate in Quantum World Congress (QWC) 2026 in the U.S.

OptQC is pleased to announce its participation in Quantum World Congress 2026 (QWC), one of the world's largest quantum technology conferences, held in College Park, Maryland, from September 23 to 25, 2026. During the event, OptQC will exhibit at the Japan Pavilion and present at the official pitch competition.

QWC is an international conference in the field of quantum technology, bringing together leading companies, investors, and government agencies from around the world. We will exhibit alongside fellow Japanese quantum startups at the Japan Pavilion, organized by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

In addition to our booth exhibition, we will take the stage on Wednesday, September 23, as a finalist in the "Quantum Startup Pitch Competition." This year's competition drew entries from quantum startups worldwide, with seven companies from six countries selected as finalists. Many past finalists have gone on to secure major funding rounds and expand partnerships with government agencies, making this competition a launching pad for startups aiming to commercialize quantum technology.

Through our participation, we aim to build connections with overseas local governments and ecosystem builders, establish relationships with U.S. investors, and connect with potential enterprise users of photonic quantum computing. As one of Japan's quantum startups, we will showcase the potential of photonic quantum technology to the global market.
