OptQC Publishes First Research Paper
OptQC Corp. has published its first research paper, "All-optical Implementation of Generalized Quantum Teleportation," on the preprint server arXiv.
Overview and Significance
In conventional optical quantum computing, "feedforward processing" is performed using electronic circuits, making conversion latencies and low throughput a major bottleneck for computational speed.
This paper proposes a unique "All-Optical Feedforward (AOFF)" architecture that executes the entire process within the optical domain. Based on noise analysis under realistic device parameters, we demonstrate that our architecture is highly loss-tolerant, showing strong potential for application to Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing (FTQC).
This work establishes an important foundation toward realizing ultra-high-speed, large-scale optical quantum computers that leverage the intrinsic ultra-wide bandwidth (THz-scale) of light.
